Shahrukh Khan was born November 2, 1965 in New Delhi. Mr. “King” Khan has proven himself as a highly successful actor, film producer and television host. Shahrukh spearheaded his career appearing in numerous Hindi television serials in the 1980s. His first film appearance was in Deewana and since then Mr. Khan turned his film career into a legendary one. Most of Shahrukh’s films have been commercially successful and because of this he has received 7 Filmfare “Best Actor” awards. Khan has starred in a long list of films but gained most recognition in his performances in the following films: Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge (1995), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), Chak De India (2007), Om Shanti Om (2007), Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008), Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001), Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003), Veer-Zaara (2004) and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna (2006).
